If it wasn't for SBR's products I'd have grown scales over the past year. And no more girls complaining that I smell like chlorine, and let's be real, that's important.

The workout was Sustained power. Keep the power number the same, so in the case of a trainer/rollers a constant wheel speed is the same thing. (neglecting any drift from heat build up)

He would say things like:
We need to learn how to speed up the cadence and maintain the same power like when the group ride accelerates. (accelerations require the addition of energy to the system)
We are going up a hill and we are going to decrease the cadence but keep the same power (with out the suggestion, as he was in other scenarios, of shifting to a different gear. which would have to be a harder gear in this case)
During one 10min interval he suggests that after a long duration at 95rpms (used to tax the vo2 system) that decreasing the cadence to 80rpm would relieve the vo2 system and put the pressure on the muscles (I agree)
During the following 10min interval he says the opposite! (which is it smarty pants?)

There were a bunch more since there was a solid 30 minutes of talking in there.
